Roidis, MD, PhD, DSc., Henry Dunant Hospital Center, Athens, Greece (www.roidisnt.gr) KneeAlign2 is a disposable navigation system that is compatible with all different implants and manufacturers (open platform) and offers the surgeon valuable information during the case. It is compatible with minimally invasive techniques without the use of any fixation pins for sensor mounting to femoral or tibila bone or any previous diagnostic workup with CT or MRI. It can be very easily used and the learning curve is limited to 2-3 cases only. It offers the possibility of perfect alignment in every single knee replacement with a very reasonable cost in comparison with PSI, conventional navigation techniques or robotic surgery. Use of fast track surgery and local infiltration analgesia protocols that facilitate early & rapid rehabilitation with full weight bearing within the first 24 hours post-op. Patient discharge from the hospital within 1 day post-op.
