read more ↘ irreparable rotator cuff tears. This patient had a revision rotator cuff repair at the same time as placement of the balloon, which is an off-label use of the Stryker InSpace device. The device was placed given poor quality tissue of the rotator cuff and prior incomplete healing of the tendon in order to maximize the benefit for this patient given his high risk for recurrent issues with the severe injury he sustained.
