read more ↘ repair was done as part of a humeral head resurfacing procedure for avascular necrosis. The long head of biceps tendon was tenodesed during the initial procedure.
The patient subsequently tore the subscapularis tendon repair about 6 months out from the initial procedure when she fell and landed on an outstretched arm. At this time she had equivocal belly press and lift off tests. She was observed nonoperatively for about 3 months. When the pain became worse with time a CT arthrogram was ordered, which demonstrated a large subscapularis rotator cuff repair. The patient had this surgery a month later.
