Methods:
This video presents a patient who experienced a prolonged course for injuries associated with a left upper extremity open Monteggia fracture and severe soft tissue degloving. He ultimately underwent elbow arthrodesis using RIA autograft for segmental bone loss and to assist with fusion.
Results:
The video is 4 minutes, 15 seconds in duration and 350.8 MB in size.
Conclusion:
The RIA technique delivers continuous aspiration of autograft material during long bone reaming. This video demonstrates the RIA technique as a means of obtaining autograft.
