Arthroscopic thread loop fixation using multiple portals has already been described. For those who are not extensively exposed to posteriomedial portal this newer procedure is useful. In this procedure we can treat PCL avulsion totally thro’ routine Ant. Medial & Ant. Lateral portals adding a transpatellar tendon portal if needed.
In this case I have made the procedure simplified using a single anterior tunnel in tibia. I have used a 24 gauze stainless steel wire. Made a wire loop posterior to the avulsed PCL and pulled it anteriorly with sufficient tension. Generally the avulsed bone piece finds its place and gets healed.
I hope this approach gives a view to find more and more procedures to fix PCL avulsion anteriorly.
