Overview Tobacco and Nicotine Dependence
Become a credentialed Tobacco Treatment Specialist through The University of Texas MD Anderson’s Tobacco Treatment Training Program. Accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP). This is a preview of the five-day virtual training course designed for healthcare professionals interested in becoming credentialed as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS). The program is focused on the skills needed to effectively deliver tobacco cessation treatment in both a clinic and community setting. Participants are eligible for up to 32 Continuing Education (CE) hours and registration is required to attend. We offer a one-day prescriber’s track which focuses on pharmacotherapy and treatment planning.
