A 25 gauge needle is used 5/8in in length with a 5cc syringe filled with 1 cc of depomedrol and 3 cc of xylocaine 1% plain. If the patient is diabetic the depomedrol is not used.

The advantage of the procedure is the fact that there is no downtime, quick recovery and no incision.
