The treatment of both, the first traumatic dislocation or the patellofemoral instability, is still controversial, the good anamnesis together with complementary imaging tests guide the best decision between a conservative, immobilization and rehabilitation, or surgical proposal. There are many operative described techniques and the reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament presents as a good option, not so invasive, easy to reproduce, demonstrating good results in the medical literature and being able to be associated with other tactics. We describe in this movie the technique of reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament with autologous graft of the quadriceps tendon.
