Nair, St. Bernard’s Heart & Vascular Centre, AR, presents her data on zero-exchange transseptal puncture workflows and approaches to improve procedural efficiency in left-atrial appendage closure (LAAC) cases as a sub-analysis of the HEAL-LAA study. She compares needle-based and RF wire-based workflows and demonstrates that the RF wire-based workflow of the VersaCross Connect™ LAAC Access Solution is consistent in deployment of WATCHMAN™ therapy devices, allowing for decreased use of fluoroscopy.
