Donna discusses glioblastoma, the most common malignant primary brain tumor in adults. This lecture will explore the diagnosis and management of GBM. Common symptoms include: headache, vomiting and seizures. Most patients require initial surgery combined with adjuvant postoperative radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Even with maximal therapy, glioblastoma has a high rate of recurrence and poor overall survival in most patients.
