The skin incision is anterolateral, small (6-8 cm) and adapted to each case, the injury of soft tissue is minimal and there is no need of homologous blood transfusion in almost all cases, without the use of any drains or catheters.
Use of fast track surgery and local infiltration analgesia protocols that facilitate early & rapid rehabilitation with full weight bearing within the first 24 hours post-op.
Patient discharge from the hospital within 1-2 days post-op.
Implants used: Trident Acetabular System, Accolade Stem, Stryker, USA.
