The Latarjet surgery has been recognized as an effective solution for recurrent shoulder instability, providing patients with improved stability, reduced risk of recurrence, and the potential for a return to normal activities. Although the technique has evolved over the years, it remains a complex and challenging procedure. Two master surgeons are going to present their approaches: Dr. Albert Lin (USA) with the classical open Latarjet with screw fixation versus Dr. Philippe Teissier (France) with the arthroscopic Latarjet with Endobutton fixation. This unique battle is going to allow the audience to get a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Latarjet procedure from two perspectives.
This session was part of the WST Festival 2024 and featured by Smith & Nephew and Stryker.
