She was diagnosed as osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture L1 vertebra.
The fracture was not united and due to pseudoarthrosis was extremely painful.
Balloon kyphoplasty was done under local anaesthesia to restore vertebral height and make patient painfree.
Patient mobilised next day of procedure.
