Join Michelle a Family Medicine NP in Moline, IL. She specializes in Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), of which there are thirteen different types. EDS is a complex genetic connective tissue disorder. This lecture will review diagnosis of the various types of EDS, but will focus on the most common type: Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Michele will review they symptomology, which is at times both complex and vague. She will briefly explore the genetic component, review comorbidities, and discuss interventions and management. Michele, herself, suffers from Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
