After opening the rotator interval, the coracoid is exposed to reach the wrongly named “loose body”. By alternating the probe, to find the plane of dissection, and the radiofrequency wand to release the embedding soft tissue, the chondroma is progressively freed, by patient and circumferential release of its relatively loose attachments to the synovial bursa.
The chondroma is eventually extracted through the antero-supero-lateral portal mentioned.
