read more ↘ Henry Dunant Hospital Center, Athens, Greece (www.roidisnt.gr) without the use of any special traction table, with the patient in the supine position using a conventional table. The skin incision is anterolateral, small and adapted to each case, the injury of soft tissue is minimal and there is no need of homologous blood transfusion almost in all cases, without the use of any drains. Intraoperative control of leg length discrepancy and implant positioning under fluoroscopy is easily performed. In the face of any complications the approach is easily extended offering the surgeon both intraoperative solutions and safety. Use of fast track surgery and local infiltration analgesia protocols that facilitate early & rapid rehabilitation with full weight bearing within the first 24 hours post-op. Patient discharge from the hospital within 1-2 days post-op.
