Objective: To provide physicians, school administrators, team owners, the general public and individuals responsible for … medical care… with guidelines for choosing a qualified team physician and an outline of the duties expected of a team physician.
Goal: To ensure that athletes and teams are provided the very best medical care

Practice emergency procedures with ATCs and ambulance personnel
Educate players and coaches on field etiquette with injured player
Decide on reduction techniques for Return to play
Be the athlete’s Protector/Advocate
Don’t worry or lose sleep over your decisions on the sideline
We should share our experiences, the more, the better
