Overview

This meeting will highlight key takeaways from the 2024 ASH Symposium, tailored specifically for hematologists, oncologists, primary care physicians, pathologists, fellows in hematology/oncology, oncology nurses, oncology social workers, and other healthcare professionals involved in blood cancer treatment. The program offers a comprehensive review of the latest research developments in hematologic malignancies from the past year, with a focus on their real-world applications in patient care.



Objectives
  1. Describe current treatment options and recent advancements in lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, and myeloid malignancies.
  2. Evaluate the development, outcomes, and relevance of clinical research trials, cellular therapies, and transplant options for hematological malignancies.
  3. Analyze the emerging roles of immunotherapy, targeted therapies, cellular therapies, and monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of hematological malignancies.
  4. Summarize updates in classical hematology, including advancements in the management of bleeding disorders and thrombosis.

Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
