Overview

This hands-on course, led by Kelly Han, MD, FSCCT, is designed for pediatric and adult congenital imagers who understand the basics of CT in CHD and are interested in reviewing and learning from complex cases in unrepaired/palliated CHD. There will be 25 cases selected to illustrate CT techniques or unique CHD lesions/findings. The cases will focus on complex neonatal CHD, single ventricle CHD and PVR planning and complications post procedure.

Learning Objectives

Upon completing the course, learners will be able to:

  • Understand contrast techniques and acquisition protocols for moderate to complex CHD
  • Understand dose optimization specific to CHD indication
  • Understand post processing techniques to illustrate CT findings in CHD

Target Audience

Designed for pediatric and adult congenital imagers who understand the basics of CT in CHD and are interested in reviewing and learning from complex cases in unrepaired/palliated CHD.

Accreditation

The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
