Course Description
The Utah Regional Stroke Conference is sponsored by Intermountain Health and the University of Utah for healthcare providers who care for those suffering stroke. The focus of this conference will be on interdisciplinary management of cerebrovascular disease as well as medical and scientific advances in technology and personalized care to improve medical and rehabilitation approaches to post-stroke treatment.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and discuss collaboration between hospitals and across disciplines over the continuum of stroke care,
- Discuss implementation of new research and techniques in clinical practice, and
- Identify and discuss advocacy efforts to improve stroke care throughout the region.
