This program will focus on providing the attendee an update on the latest aspects of ophthalmic best practices across the field, research updates regarding recently approved therapists for ophthalmic disease, and research updates regarding pipeline therapists that may soon be available.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and discuss the most recent techniques in the management of ocular conditions
- Apply current research findings to better diagnose and manage patient with a variety of ocular diseases in the general ophthalmology clinic
- Examine the benefits of preventative medicine in the management of degenerative ocular disease
- Appreciate the rationale for recent efforts used to attempt to mitigate the severity of or to regenerate the function that is lost due to degenerative ocular diseases
