Overview
This symposium will provide attendees a comprehensive, evidence-based overview for the care and treatment of patients with a wide array of neurological disorders. Expert neurology subspecialists will cover the latest guidelines, clinical strategies, recent advances, and new treatments for outpatient and inpatient neurology.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize and apply evidence-based treatments and guidelines for neurological care including headaches, multiple sclerosis, memory disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, sleep disorders.
- Recognize and apply the fundamental basis and modalities of neurotherapeutics.
- Review current controversies in the care of patients with neurological diseases.
- Identify indications for use of newer medications and treatment modalities for neurological diseases.
- Develop strategies for diagnosing and treating complicated neurologic problems in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
