OVERVIEW

For over a decade, WCIO has provided cutting education through an annual scientific meeting. In 2017 the Board of Directors of WCIO founded the Society of Interventional Oncology, the only membership-based organization dedicated to advancing the field of Interventional Oncology (IO) as the fourth pillar of cancer therapy alongside medical, surgical, and radiation oncology worldwide. With the history of innovation and the promise of what's to come, the organization moves forward to host SIO 2019.
