OVERVIEW

Join us Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 7AM ET for a live, virtual 1-hour CME discussing sarcoma management.

This case-based discussion will be led by a multidisciplinary team of Abramson Cancer Center sarcoma experts from orthopaedic oncology, neurosurgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

Drs. Cipriano, Hartner, Schuster, and Shabason will review a variety of recent sarcoma cases and discuss their coordinated approach to care. You will gain an inside view into the conversations that take place during the sarcoma team’s multidisciplinary tumor board meetings where all sarcoma cases are discussed.

During the course, the group will reference potential treatment options, including clinical trials, as well as discuss considerations from each discipline.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss the importance of a coordinated care approach in the management of sarcoma
• Assess the role that orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other disciplines play in sarcoma management
• Describe potential treatment options for sarcoma
• Identify potential considerations each discipline may present when determining the best treatment option for each patient
