The overall goal of this forum is to increase the understanding of preeclampsia and postpartum hypertension.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the treatment of preeclampsia and postpartum hypertension.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- State the pathogenesis of preeclampsia;
- Relate the role of angiogenic biomarkers in the prediction of preeclampsia and other adverse outcomes;
- Recall how ongoing preeclampsia research can improve future treatment;
- Describe the adverse effects of postpartum hypertension on patients;
- Explain how a bundle quality initiative can manage postpartum hypertension;
- Discuss the link between preeclampsia and long-term cardiovascular risk and strategies to mitigate it.
