AdventHealth Center for Interventional Endoscopy is pleased to invite you to Orlando Live Endoscopy (OLE) 2025. This CME- and MOC-accredited event is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive education in all aspects of advanced endoscopy. It is comprised of multiple components over three days, including: live case demonstrations, state-of-the-art lectures, interactive luncheon sessions, self-assessment, hands-on training workshops and a dedicated symposium for fellows, endoscopy nurses and technicians. The live demonstrations will encompass ERCP, cholangioscopy, diagnostic EUS, interventional EUS, cytopathology, endoscopic tissue resection (EMR, ESD & EFTR), third space endoscopy (E-POEM, G-POEM), Zenker’s treatment, luminal interventions and exposure to new technology. To maximize participants’ educational experience, a major focus of the live demonstrations will be on “how to do it effectively and safely.” These live cases will be performed by the CIE Team and other internationally known invited faculty. State-of-the-art lectures will cover controversial and difficult-to-manage topics, followed by lively Q&A sessions.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

• Discuss the journey of endoscopy and advances in endoscopic disease management
• Discuss and demonstrate recent innovations and advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and evaluate their clinical utility
• Learn the evidenced-based approach to therapeutic endoscopy
• Demonstrate “how to perform therapeutic endoscopy effectively and safely,” and management of procedure-related adverse events
• Discuss how to develop a comprehensive referral center of endoscopic excellence
• Simulation/skills-based training in therapeutic endoscopy with hands-on training on a variety of teaching models and live animals

Physician Program: Gastroenterologists, general surgeons, fellows-in-training and allied health professionals

Nurse and Technician Program: Nurse managers, endoscopy nurses and technicians

LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS

Live case demonstrations will be performed by internationally known experts and the CIE team at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy. Procedures and cases will be transmitted live to the audience at the Nicholson Center at the Celebration campus. The goals of the live demonstrations are to showcase advanced endoscopic procedures with an emphasis on patient safety, effective, safe, and innovative endoscopic procedural techniques, and demonstrate the utilization of new technologies. The procedures will be demonstrated by faculty who are recognized both for their expertise in endoscopy and professional education manner to enhance the educational experience of participants. In addition, for the Nurse and Technician Program, the aim is to provide education regarding endoscopic equipment and accessories, a step-by-step guide to the preparation and utilization of endoscopic accessories effectively and practical tips to enhance assistance during endoscopic procedures to become an effective team member.
