OVERVIEW
The purpose of this CME activity is to discuss and educate gastroenterologists and GI surgeons regarding topics in esophageal diseases using high-level didactics, live case demonstrations and small group discussions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe the state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic tools for GERD and Barrett's esophagus.
- Demonstrate practical innovation in esophageal physiologic testing.
- Apply advanced management for eosinophilic esophagitis.
- Identify the current status of quality metrics and novel devices for diagnosis and management of Barrett’s esophagus.
- Explain the role of Per-Oral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) as a minimally invasive procedure for achalasia.
- Recognize blown out myotomy (BOM) as a cause for recurrent symptoms in patients with achalasia following POEM or Heller myotomy.
