OVERVIEW
Northwestern is offering a free webinar series specific to APPs who practice in Gastroenterology (GI), Hepatology and GI Surgery. Each webinar is one hour and will feature members of the Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Center who will provide knowledge on managing patients in all subspecialties of gastroenterology medicine and surgery, in addition to skills for optimizing APP practice.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After attending this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recall an overview of the medical treatment of IBD.
- Recognize the surgical management of patients with IBD.
- Apply the management of IBD medications in the perioperative setting.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is appropriate for advanced practice providers, including nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs).
