OVERVIEW
Neuromodulation involves the use of implantable technologies to alter abnormal neural circuitry or chemistry, and is one of the fastest growing fields in all of medicine and neural science. The goal is the alleviation of human disease and suffering. This symposium will explore common techniques and indications such as spinal cord stimulation for chronic neuropathic pain, and deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. In addition, we will explore new and emerging techniques and indications. This course is a live event with lectures from thought leaders in the field, in addition to hands-on practical stations, where students can apply concepts learned to simulators.
This course will be offered in-person only.
