Overview
This case-based discussion will review and provide insight on how prostate cancer patient outcomes are improved through enhanced diagnostics, avoidance of unnecessary surgery with active surveillance, personalized surgical interventions when appropriate, and improving quality of life during and after treatment. We will discuss workflows and decision-making processes which will inform treatment options, as well as the latest advancements in prostate cancer care. Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Understand the current diagnostic tools used for the diagnosis and risk-stratification of men with prostate cancer
