EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Describe the National Lung Cancer Screening Trial, NELSON study, and TALENT study
- Review the different recommendations for lung cancer screening
- Discuss the impacts of lung cancer screening on survival rates
- Identify high risk individuals that are appropriate referral’s for LCS Program
- Outline the recommendations for lung nodule follow up
- Assess the role of molecular markers
