OVERVIEW
This one-day activity will present content on neuroimmune disorders, such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Led by expert faculty, you will learn about these rare and challenging disorders and the importance of a careful diagnosis and early intervention using the latest medical approaches. Panel sessions will provide ample time for clarification of clinical points and encourage interactivity between participants and presenters.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe the new diagnostic criteria for multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD)
- Summarize the clinical presentation and differential diagnoses of demyelinating disorders including NMOSD and MS
- Recognize the potential severity of relapses and other unique issues to address with NMOSD and MS patients who are pregnant or considering pregnancy
- Consider race and ethnicity for patients presenting with neuroimmunological disorders and describe the implications for individualized care
- Describe recent visual outcomes in MS and NMOSD and the implications for the care of patients with demyelinating disorders
