OVERVIEW
Join us in-person at the Washington Nationals Park (1500 S. Capitol St. SE, Washington, DC 20003) for the Inova Sports Medicine Summit. The Summit will focus on the emerging techniques in sports medicine surgery and rehabilitation. Featuring expert lecture series and challenging case demonstrations, you will hear directly from world-renowned specialists, team physicians and physical therapists for the NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA and MLB.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Identify new treatments and management in shoulder instability in pediatric and adolescent athletes due to continued increase in intensity and overuse conditions.
- Identify the types of injuries in contact and throwing athletes which can help to aid in the diagnosis and efficient, effective treatment.
- Diagnose and treat rotator cuff tears in athletes using evidence-based recommendations for key decisions that affect the management of patients with rotator cuff injuries.
