Overview

The 2024 Cardiovascular Symposium brings together world-renowned experts to present the latest research and clinical trial results, with an emphasis on day to day clinical practice. Contemporary strategies for the detection, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease will be discussed in multiple special sessions. Attendees will earn continuing education credit for their participation.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participation in this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Use the most appropriate strategies for prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease
  • Employ evidence-based management strategies for the evaluation and treatment of heart failure
  • Describe treatment options for patients with structural and valvular heart disease
  • Discuss new methods for diagnosing and treating atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias

Target Audience

The target audience for the Inova Cardiovascular Symposium includes cardiologists, cardiovascular clinicians, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, internists, hospitalists, primary care physicians, fellows and residents in training, advanced practice nurses, nurses in cardiology, pharmacists, and other medical professionals interested in cardiovascular medicine.

Credit Designation for Physicians:

AXIS Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Credit Designation for Physician Assistants:

AXIS Medical Education has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
