Event info
Advancements and innovations in congenital heart disease surgery and medicine have led to astounding improvements in survival rates and quality of life in adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD). Parallel to the success in care of ACHD patients, there is a growing demand to educate and train providers on the specialized approach to management of the ACHD patient. We are excited to offer – for the first time – a conference dedicated to the complex imaging of the ACHD patient, encompassing a wide gamete of modalities including echocardiograms, cross-sectional imaging, and cardiac catheterizations. With a team of experts in adult congenital cardiology, this virtual, interactive course will offer a combination of exciting cases, informative presentations and provocative discussions focused on congenital cardiac imaging. What is an abnormal vs. normal cardiac anatomical variant? Which congenital cardiac anomalies require intervention? What are the most common pitfalls and missed diagnoses for congenital heart patients? Experts in adult congenital cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery will discuss how to utilize the best imaging modalities to deduce clinical plans and make medical and surgical decisions. On behalf of the NYU Langone Health Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, we invite you to partake in this unique virtual full-day opportunity!
