Northwestern is offering a free webinar series specific to APPs who practice in Gastroenterology (GI), Hepatology and GI Surgery. Each webinar is one hour and will feature members of the Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Center who will provide knowledge on managing patients in all subspecialties of gastroenterology medicine and surgery, in addition to skills for optimizing APP practice.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

After attending this educational activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss a variety of GI diseases and pathology encountered frequently in GI and GI surgery.
• Review patient management algorithms.
• Integrate multidisciplinary team management for GI disorders.
• Identify appropriate indications for subspecialty referrals.

TARGETED AUDIENCE

This program is appropriate for advanced practice providers, including nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs).

ACCREDITATION

The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
