Overview
We have organized a multidisciplinary conference designed to address different aspects of liver disease including population health and associated disparities. Complex aspects of liver disease management, including advances in hepatobiliary cancer treatment and methods to improve access to liver transplantation, will be discussed.
Learning Objectives
- Apply an evidence-based approach to the management of liver disease patients in both a hospital and an office setting.
- Identify treatment challenges in liver disease and access to weight loss medications.
- Define current standard treatments for patients with hepatitis B, C, NASH, alcoholic liver disease, portal hypertension and liver malignancies.
- Discuss the current state of liver transplantation and the management of liver transplant patients.
