OVERVIEW
Clinical Advances in the Diagnosis and Management of Pulmonary Hypertension will educate clinicians on all PH types. Expert faculty will discuss the epidemiology of PH, diagnosis of PH, and the poor outcomes associated with untreated PH. The conference will provide clinicians with an understanding of the difference between PAH and PH associated with left heart disease. Strategies for PH types will be presented, along with new therapies recommended for HFpEF and treatments for right ventricular failure. Participants will return to their practice equipped with the latest evidence base and practical information to improve patient outcomes.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After attending this live activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe clinical factors and necessary tests to establish a diagnosis of PH.
- Recognize the difference between PAH and PH associated with HFpEF.
- Evaluate treatment strategies for patients with PH.
- Recall guideline-recommended therapies for HFpEF.
