OVERVIEW
Cardiovascular disease remains the number one killer worldwide in both men and women. Over the last several decades, tremendous strides have been made in the treatment of complex cardiovascular diseases. Many patients are living in the community with novel therapeutics and newly defined disease courses. This is especially true for those patients living with heart failure. The goal of this course is to provide clinicians with the education to care for these complicated patients and improve patient outcomes. This course will have a focus on complex care plans and recent advancements in heart failure.

After participating in this activity, clinicians should be able to:

- Present new treatment options and, when applicable, discuss end-of-life and palliative care planning for the advanced heart failure patient
