OVERVIEW
Now more than ever, the presence of social inequities in healthcare is evident. The two-day “Cancer Equity Colloquium” aims to improve patient care through addressing various aspects of these inequities and their contributors within the realm of cancer. Presenters from a wide array of backgrounds will bring unique perspectives to the following topics related to cancer inequity: language, health education, economics, and infrastructure. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to interact with speakers during throughout the symposium; the meeting will function as a vehicle for future collaborations.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
TARGET AUDIENCE This course is targeted to Primary Care Physicians, Specialty Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, and Psychologists; in addition to the lay public and private business. This course may also be of interest to physicians who practice in preventative medicine, public health, psychology and mental health, family medicine, oncology and hematology.
