Learning Objectives
• Be updated on new AI musculoskeletal applications.
• Understand the patient’s social dependents that can affect patient care and recommend tools to address these issues. • Learn how to protect patient records from ransomware attacks.
• Help orthopaedic surgeons understand new orthopaedic innovations and what to expect in MSK healthcare in the next 5 years. • Update orthopaedic surgeons on new orthopaedic procedures and techniques.

Target Audience
This program has been designed for the general orthopaedic surgeon to instruct them in the latest research and best practices in: Practical AI Applications in Orthopaedics, Great Debates and Updates in Hand/Upper Extremities, Trauma Injuries, Total Joints, Sports Medicine, and Foot and Ankle.
The QME course will update physicians on disability evaluation issues involving Upper, Lower, and Spine injuries and how QMEs/AMEs must address important case law in their reports. Mock trials will also be held during the course.
Accreditation
The California Orthopaedic Association is accredited by the California Medical Association (CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The California Orthopaedic Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The California Orthopaedic Association takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
10 of these credits also qualify for CME in radiation safety; and 4 of the 10 credits qualify for fluoroscopy certification required by California state law and the Radiologic Health Branch.
ABOS MOC CREDITS: This meeting will be accredited for 10 ABOS MOC scored and recorded Self-Assessment Examination (SAE) credits. You must take a post-meeting test to receive the credits.
QME CME CREDITS: The QME Course is accredited for 8 hours of Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) CME credit hours. COA is provider #100.
