COURSE DESCRIPTION
This CME program is open to orthopaedic surgeons, residents, physiotherapists, nurses, and members of the orthopaedic and allied health industries.
This 4-day course includes:
- lectures by leading shoulder surgeons from around the world on all current concepts and controversies related to both open and arthroscopic shoulder surgery

- practice of modern cutting-edge techniques which participants choose in advance on cadaver specimens.
By the end of this course, surgeons will be able to:
- Understand all current rotator cuff repair techniques for partial, full-thickness and massive tears
- Comprehend all current treatment options for the management of irreparable rotator cuff tears (growth factors, spacers, SCR, graft augmentation, tendon transfers)
- Understand all current treatment techniques for shoulder instability including all current complex instability treatment alternatives (labral repairs, remplissage, bone grafts and coracoid transfer procedures
- Comprehend athletes’ shoulder injuries and pathology including acromioclavicular joint dislocations
- Understand current controversies and apply current concepts to shoulder arthroplasty
- Learn all about patients’ specific instruments and robotics and familiarized themselves with the new digitized era of shoulder surgery
- Familiarize themselves with the outcomes and postoperative complications following anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty surgeries and develop strategies for revising failed shoulder arthroplasties
- Be capable to apply innovative methods for the evaluation and management of shoulder disorders
- Assimilate the principles of ultrasound shoulder evaluation
