Hematologic malignancies continue to be a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Major strides are being made in the management of these diseases. The American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting serves as an avenue to discuss the most recent breakthroughs in the treatment of these malignancies. This review will discuss highlights from the 2018 ASH Meeting. It will also provide opportunities for local physicians and medical health workers to discuss these advances with renowned experts in the field.

Objectives

At the completion of this conference, participants should be able to:

• discuss and debate emerging data and recent advances relating to the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies and diseases and integrate key findings into clinical practice.
