TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is designed for MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, PTs, OTs, and ATCs. All other members of the health care team who are interested in education about clinical advances and current controversies in orthopedic subspecialties are welcome to attend.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
All Northwell Health CME activities are intended to improve patient care, safety and outcomes. At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:
- Describe the difference in clinical outcomes for the osteoarthritis patient population who elect to have joint replacement surgery vs. nonoperative treatment methods.
- Apply state-of-the-art orthopedic and rehabilitative care in the evaluation and treatment of injuries in the upper and lower extremities.
- Describe the difference in outcomes for ACL repairs versus ACL reconstructions.
