OVERVIEW

This course will present an update on the diagnosis and management of hepatobiliary diseases. World renown experts will present a broad range of topics. Didactic presentations will be augmented with panel discussions, instructive case presentations supplemented by questions and answers and panel discussions. The goal of this educational activity is to increase knowledge, competence and performance in providing care to patients as well as to encourage providers to modify practice behaviors which can lead to better patient health and safety.

Day two of the conference will be dedicated to patient education. Expert physicians, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers and advocacy groups will share experiences, insights and the latest advancements in cholestatic liver diseases. Patients will also learn about promising clinical trials and research opportunities.
