OVERVIEW
This activity provides a comprehensive update on the prevention, diagnosis and management of heart failure and its multiple comorbid conditions. Expert-led lectures, panel discussions, and case-based presentations cover the latest treatments and updates on both cardiac and non-cardiac comorbidities related to chronic heart failure.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents/fellows and other health care professionals in the cardiology and cardiovascular specialties, internal medicine and family practice.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the initial evaluation process for suspected heart failure
- Apply latest evidence and diagnostic tools to guide the evaluation and management of heart failure comorbidities
