This program will review the current state of the art in breast cancer management, highlighting the key components of multi-disciplinary treatment to include surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology. The format of this program will consist of
lectures and case studies.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Discuss fertility issues in young breast cancer patients
- Explore emerging techniques in advanced reconstructive surgery
- Analyze the role for hypofractionated radiation therapy in the postmastectomy and oligometastatic setting
- Evaluate the impact of molecular subtyping and liquid biopsies on current and future management strategies
TARGET AUDIENCE
This program has been designed for practicing primary care physicians, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, residents and fellows in oncology training programs, as well as allied health providers including oncology nurses, mid-level providers (APN and PA), radiation therapists (RTT), and any other clinicians interested or involved in the management and treatment of breast cancer.
