The Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine will host its 55th Annual Neurology Update and Stroke Intensive Review from May 12–14 at the InterContinental Miami.
This year’s meeting, designed for various health care professionals and researchers, will be led by course directors Andres M. Kanner, M.D., FAAN, FANA, FAES, professor of clinical neurology, director of the International Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and chief of the Epilepsy Division; and Jose G. Romano, M.D., FAHA, FAAN, FANA, professor of neurology, executive vice chair of clinical affairs and chief of the Stroke Division.
More than 50 leading UM neurologists and stroke specialists will present challenging diagnostic and therapeutic case studies, clinical vignettes, targeted reviews, and panel/roundtable discussions around the most critical and timely topics covering major neurologic disorders and highlights the newest research and therapeutic modalities for each of the following neurologic conditions: Epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, MS, memory disorders, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, migraines and stroke and more found in the meeting’s agenda.
In addition, a dedicated stroke seminar will take place Saturday as a stand-alone 8-hour CME activity.
