We are thrilled to announce our upcoming 4th Annual Cardiovascular Conference: Advances in Cardiovascular Disease - from Prevention to Intervention. This truly innovative educational experience is being brought to you through an easily accessible virtual platform to be released in three consecutive weeks - Tuesday June 30th, Tuesday July 7^th, and Tuesday July 14^th and will be available online for 90 days. 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

All Northwell Health CME activities are intended to improve patient care, safety and outcomes. At the conclusion of this CVE program, participants should be able to:

• Summarize and discuss the latest clinical trials, research and guidelines in managing cardiovascular diseases.
• Counsel patients and apply preventive medical and lifestyle therapies to their own practice.
• Delineate the benefits and risks involved in advanced interventional and pharmacologic therapies.
• Analyze and examine new treatments and technologies in cardiovascular medicine and provide clinical scenarios on how to incorporate them into clinical practice.
• Evaluate and review recent literature for numerous relevant core cardiovascular topics.
• Identify and apply specific considerations for addressing cardiovascular disease prevention in women.
• Apply strategies to prevent physician burn-out to improve their own well-being.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, pharmacists, nutritionists, dieticians, Fellows in the areas of General, Preventive and Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Endocrinology, Residents in Internal Medicine, Family/Practice Medicine, Emergency Medicine and medical students along with other medical professionals with an interest in cardiology.
