Program Overview

Join us at the 2nd Annual Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) Symposium, a collaborative effort by NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Orlando Health, FL, and the Global Interventional IBD Group. This symposium aims to explore the two primary phenotypes of IBD, Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). Attendees can expect engaging lectures on recent advances in medical therapy, strategies for preventing infectious complications, pre- and post-operative prophylaxis, disease monitoring, and effective endoscopic management of disease- and surgery-related complications with leading multidisciplinary experts in this field.

  • To be familiar with the current status of biological therapy in IBD
  • To be familiar with principles, indications, techniques, and outcomes of endoscopic therapy for strictures, fistulae, and surgical leaks in IBD
  • To be familiar with principles, diagnosis, and management of colitis-associated neoplasia in IBD
  • To be familiar with rescue strategies for endoscopy-associated complications
